High Speed Loop Type Slitting
Camden Yards Steel has state-of-the-art high speed slitting capabilities. We can slit master steel coils up to and including coils that are 62 inches wide. Our machines have multi-heads, a 60,000 pound uncoiling and recoiling capacity, and are able to reach 1,500 feet per minute.
Our slitter can hold extremely tight tolerances per specific customer requirements. In addition, we have a state of the art, fully automatic packaging line allowing us to custom package slit coils for specific and unique customer requests.
Slit coil products offered by Camden Yards Steel include but are not limited to cold rolled, hot rolled, hot rolled pickled and oiled (HRP&O), galvanized, galvannealed, and painted carbon steel slit coils.
Precision Plate Leveling
Our Herr-Voss precision leveling line has fully backed up tandem levelers and a thickness range of 0.060” (16 Gauge) through 0.500” (1/2"). A unique feature of our line is that we can level steel plate up to 96 inches wide and cut lengths up to 600 inches long.
Our line can handle the largest master coils, with an 80,000 pound uncoiling capacity. In addition, Camden Yards Steel has edge trimming capability & flatness critical applications. Finally, our line has auto skid injection stacking and the latest technology in packaging.
Precision plate leveled products offered by Camden Yards Steel include hot rolled steel sheet, hot rolled steel plate, hot rolled pickled and oil steel sheet, hot rolled pickled and oiled steel plate, diamond plate/floor plate, discrete plate, and others.
Multi-Cut Precision Blanking
Camden Yards Steel has a four high Herr-Voss multi-cut blanking lines with a Red Bud cut to length packaging line. This machine's thickness range is from 0.012” (30 Gauge) through 0.135” (10 Gauge).
We cut master coils with widths up to 72 inches and can cut blanks with lengths up to 144 inches long. Our line has a 50,000 pound uncoiling capacity and has exacting tolerances, high speeds and automatic changeovers.
Multi-cut precision blanking products offered by Camden Yards Steel include cold rolled steel blanks, galvanized steel blanks, galvanneal steel blanks, electrogalvanized steel blanks, and painted steel blanks.
Custom Shearing
Our shearing line allows us to customer shear steel plate and sheet per specific customer request. Our sheer cuts steel plate thickness up to 3/8" and we can cut lengths up to 14'.
Sheared products offered include custom sheared hot rolled sheet and plate, diamond plate, and HRP&O sheet and plate.
